The ATHENA PowerLink™ program, a national coaching and mentoring program, began in Erie, PA in 2001, promoting women-owned businesses and the growth of the Erie business community. The program is offered exclusively by the ATHENA Foundation™ © 1999.

ATHENA PowerLink™ provides professional advisory panels to women-owned businesses to assist in business growth. Each advisory panel is tailored to the specific needs of the company defined by the business plans, goals and objectives of the enterprise. The panel provides consultation and mentoring to facilitate business networking, accessing capital and implementing best business practices.

The governing body provides guidance on the development and success of the businesswomen's goals.
