Donna Reese

Donna Reese is the owner of General Exterminating, a third generation pest control company in Erie. Five years after the purchase of General Exterminating, Donna and her partner Jim bought The Cookie Mug. It was an interesting combination for Donna – going from a very technical business in the pest control industry to a retail cookie gift shop.

With great help from ESBA, Donna found the confidence to apply for the Athena Powerlink program and was selected in 2008. Incredible changes and growth came from a very successful year in the Athena program. Donna sold The Cookie Mug to allow more time to focus on the growth of General Exterminating and utilizing the time with her Athena panelists.

Her decision to take over ownership of ESBA was an easy one.  Her sons’, Ryan and Shane, are excited to be working with their mom on this new venture also.   She is anxious to apply her 20 years experience as a business leader and mentor other businesses as she was through the Athena Powerlink program.
